NDCA HALL OF FAME

The Hall of Fame award recognizes dance team professionals that have served at least ten years, have developed a successful dance team program at his/her level and area, and who have had a profound impact on the development of dance team outside their immediate sphere of influence.

Who can nominate someone?
Who can nominate someone?

You do not have to be a member of the NDCA to nominate a dance team professional for an award. Dancers, fellow coaches, parents, administrators, and friends are all allowed to nominate a deserving coach or dance team associate (judge, choreographer, consultant, etc.)

When do nominations close?
When do nominations close?

Nominations are continually accepted. However, nominations for the following year close December 31 of the previous year. For example to nominate someone for 2023 College Coach of the Year, the nomination must be submitted by December 31 of 2022.

Who decides the winners?

NDCA members vote for the Coaches of the Year and Associate Member of the Year during the last two weeks of March. For Hall of Fame selection, a panel of member representatives from each level sits on a board that reviews the nominations and selects inductees.

Hall of Fame Inductees and Coaches/Associate Member of the Year are announced at the Friday night Gala during the annual NDCA National Dance Coaches Conference.
