Dear Dance Colleague,
Welcome! Whether you are part of an existing state coaches association or are looking to establish a state association, NDCA can help. The National Dance Coaches Association has formed partnerships with multiple state and national dance coaches groups, and we look forward to collaborating with you in supporting your state organization, or assisting you in the creation of a state dance coaches association.
A state association for coaches can benefit both coaches and dancers in many ways. There is power in bringing coaches together to work toward common goals benefitting student athletes. Primarily, because state associations represent almost all teams in their state, they can have a strong voice useful in developing positive working relationships with the state athletic and activities associations. They consistently educate and advocate for member coaches by outlining clear rules and policies to govern dance, including judging. If you believe that your state could benefit from developing your state association or in forming a new state association, the NDCA has numerous archived resources available to members.
In addition to resources, the NDCA has cultivated relationships with a variety of state and national association leaders ready to connect with you. Our goal is to advance every dance coaches association across the country through national networking and shared resources.
We look forward to collaborating with you.
Sincerely,
Sue Putra and Julie Jacobson
